Dead Girl Songs is an Appalachian-style trio named after the tragic ladies of many a murder ballad. Tracy Jo (on mandolin), Kelly (on banjo), and Hannah (on banjito and guitar) sing traditional and less traditional bluegrass songs in close harmony. Over the years, Dead Girl Songs has performed with musical friends and family at shows and festivals in Georgia, Nova Scotia, and the Houston, Texas area.
Dead Girl Songs will be joined by talented friends Nils d’Aulaire, Tristan Young, and Davey Frank. It’s an event for planting grasses in the prairie, so you can come out, eat a hot dog, plant some grass, dance to some bluegrass, maybe pick up a washboard and play along. Dead Girl Songs will be playing some originals at the New Voices Showcase. This time they will be joined by brilliant musician friend Nils d’Aulaire on guitar and vocals.

The Bay Area Bluegrass Association Monthly show is a free event at the Arolfo Civic Center in League City.
We go on at 8 p.m., but the stage show begins at 6 p.m. and jamming starts earlier in the afternoon.
